Jumping Happy Fun Ball was created by jerrytk. Check the game here.

Happy Fun Ball never gives up, never surrenders! Even when his way up is riddled with holes and sneaking enemies. Up, up and away!

Happy Fun Ball's next adventure!

Ok, this is just something I hacked together during the last two days
after the first game. Now it is a series  Wink

It is just a demo, there is only one type of enemy monster there, but
the game logic is more-or-less complete.

Try and see how far you'll get  Smiley
I will work on more monsters it the meantime...

Blinking period after death would really help...

Actually, the blinking I meant was invulnerability-blinking - sometimes I die from something and I get a huge chain reaction that costs me multiple lives because I fall on another hole during the death animation or I hit an enemy, etc. It's frustrating Sad

Also, I have no recollection of posting that reply. How odd  Lips sealed

Oh, I see...

Well, there's no invulnerability period. I think this would make
the game just too easy. I agree that sometimes it is unavoidable
to get stunned in some way but the trick is to avoid the chain
reaction somehow and not to drop all the way down.
Lives are only lost when the ball drops to the bottom level so
if you manage to "resurrect" at least at the first level, you
are safe.
You might have noticed that the ball is stunned for a shorter
time when it drops down the hole compared to longer time when
it collides with monster. Sometimes it might be better to just
"commit suicide" by dropping down the hole and come back alive faster
instead of trying to run from the monster, etc.

I know this all can be frustrating at times, especially when the ball drops
to the very bottom from the top line  Wink but my opinion is that this
frustration also makes you return to this game and try to "beat it this time
for sure"  Smiley

Hi Tzach!

I'm still around, just terribly busy these days...
Hopefully in a month or two the stuff gets sorted out
and I'll have more time to dedicate to this.

Cheers,

Jerry
