An old veteran of gaming fame, Ken Silverman, has created(awhile ago) a useful utility that can help reduce PNG file sizes. Ken was the brains behind Duke3d's amazing(for its time) Build engine, hes got a nice collection of other works, but for this community, the PNGOUT program is probably the most useful.
