Mo’Minis is Introducing GimmiCast #1!
This is the first contest in the GimmiCast contests series. Mo’Minis is giving you the opportunity to create content which has never been seen before on the mobile platform! This contest is all about gimmicks. In other words, games or entertainment applications that are based on a quirky idea that distinguishes your game from all the others.
Your idea for a game can be based on anything including a parody, an important event or a new and exciting entertainment application. Be sure to base your idea on one of the genres available on the game genres page
Here's what you need to do:
First download the new version of Mo’Minis Studio from our website. The Studio allows you to create a game that will be supported by a wide range of mobile handsets. Don’t worry, the studio is very user-friendly, doesn’t require any programming skills, and it does not limit you in realizing your creative ideas. To get you started, we’ve prepared video tutorials and sample games that should put you on the right track.
After downloading the studio, you can start developing your original idea. Since it’s a gimmicks contest, the idea is as important as the game itself. Once you’ve created your gimmick, implement it by using Mo’Minis Studio. At any stage of the contest you can contact us for feedback regarding the game concept and for technical support.
Winners and Contest Leaders
The winners list will be published in September 2009. The winners and contest leaders will be selected by voting and by the judges' panel. Remember, anyone can vote, so don't forget to cast your vote!
Both winners and contest leaders will receive revenues of the wide distribution of their games on Mo’Minis distribution network. In addition, the winners will enjoy the contest’s prizes and exposure to the developers community.
