Guidlines

Things to keep in mind when creating your Gimmicks
Creating a successful Gimmick is not an exact science, but there are a few basic rules that might put you on the right track:
  • Use appealing and fun graphics
Unlike standard games, the visuals take the central stage here - don't be afraid to outsource.

  • Keep It Simple
All you need is an entertaining idea. Don't complicate it too much.

  • Build universal games
Keep in mind that your game will be distributed globally, so try to use universal ideas.

  • Use minimal text
If possible, don't use too many words - it will make your game much easier to translate.
